Holy crap, this DS game is amazing
Released in Japan a few years ago and inspired by a popular manga/anime, Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo features all sorts of fun minigames like: dog breakdancing, Super Mario Bros. 3-style face matching, and some kind of crying/ballet dancing activity. I need to import this.

Square Enix has posted a new countdown site, and numerous clues on the page — its Japanese title, its music, its typeface, Tetsuya Nomura and Gen Kobayashi’s involvement, etc. — point toward a follow-up to cherished Nintendo DS RPG The World Ends With You.
Before you break out the celebratory GIFs, we still don’t know if this will be a handheld/console release, a mobile-only affair, or what. Perhaps it’s a collectible card game for Japanese arcades, who knows. Or maybe it’s everything you ever dreamed during those lonely years when all hope for a sequel seemed lost, and the only way you could fall asleep was by imagining Neku spooning you.

It’s a tiny cartridge reunion! Not everyone could make it, but almost everyone from the Nintendo side of the family is here — Game Boy, GBA, DS, and 3DS. There’s Sega’s Game Gear sandwiched between, wait, who are those guys? Oh, a couple relatives from overseas, Gunpei Yokoi’s kids, WonderSwan and WS Color, showed up!
Just a reminder that portable games are the best.

WayForward’s Adventure Time game is releasing for 3DS, too — and not just DS, as was initially reported.
In addition to this fine boxart, we now have the game’s full title (Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!) and some details on its story:
“Finn and Jake wake up one morning to find their trash stolen by the Ice King. Jake couldn’t care less about half-eaten bananas, crumpled up burrito wrappers, and old chicken diapers – but when they find out the Ice King is using their stolen goods to construct a Garbage Princess, the heroes embark on a fantastical adventure to teach him a lesson!”
Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward is working with WayForward (Aliens: Infestation, Mighty Switch Force) on the action-adventure game’s storyline and quests.

Gaming news that is probably pertinent to the interests of some of my followers!
Nintendo and Tecmo Koei’s crossover strategy RPG, Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition, will release for DS this June 18 under the new title Pokemon’s Conquest — blame it on most Americans having no idea who Nobunaga is, why the Sengoku period warlord was so ambitious, or that he has a long-running strategy game series.
For those unfamiliar with the game’s concept:
OH HELL YES
“Who wants to play video games?”
Pendleton Ward, creator of Cartoon Network’s cherished program Adventure Time, has revealed that the show will receive a DS game later this year, courtesy of WayForward Technologies (Aliens: Infestation Mighty Switch Force).
I’m a little disappointed that it’s not for 3DS (a few early reports have called it a 3DS project), I still can’t wait to see what they do with Beemo in the game.
There are no details beyond what we’ve already shared, but Ward posted some fun sketches that you can see after the break. Next up: a Regular Show game. Yeahhh-uh.
Screenshots from the Ace Attorney Investigations 2 fan translation in progress. More than a year has passed since this Miles Edgeworth game released in Japan, and Capcom has still yet to announce a Western release, so I’m glad someone’s working on an English patch.
There are French, German, and Portuguese translations in the works, too. Follow their development here.

Natsume likes the Pink Mouse font. The Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove Tumblr broke this shocking story, with five Natsume 3DS/DS/Wii game logos that all make use of the font. Well, technically the two Harvest Moons are the same game on different platforms, and the two Gabrielle’s games are a similar situation.
Man, if there was a blog that posted about nothing but boxart fonts, I would already be subscribed to it, and inquiring about writing opportunities.

In the not so distant future, I would like to greet everyone in the Little Tail Bronx world. Although, I don’t know what media it will be. As long as it has everyone’s support, the Little Tails Bronx world will live forever.
